I Set My Ex Out On The Freeway-Cocoa Beach, Fl~Rachel Holbert Jones

Following my last two posts My Ex Husband & Uncle's In Dresses and My Ex Husband In Partial Drag-Halloween I'm following up with this post. Why? I'm on a path of reminiscences. As I was going through the photos looking for my ex in his halloween dress I found many, many more of him(us) on different occasions. It's amazing how much you accumulate over the years.
Anyway, one year, shortly after his friend George moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida we decided to take a trip down there so he could see him. He thinks of him as a brother. Me, not so much. He's a meddler that interfered in our relationship to the point that he was one of the reasons that my ex and I called it quits. That and my ex chasing after and befriending some woman that worked at a grocery store he regularly bought his beer at. She was a gold digger. This is another story entirely.
On the day we were leaving Cocoa(I have no use for George and didn't st…

My Ex Husband In Partial Drag-Halloween~Rachel Holbert Jones

Following my last post My Ex Husband & Uncle's In Dresses I decided to followup with this post where he's(my ex) dressed in partial drag. It was halloween and it was a day or two after he went to his favorite gas station(Exxon-Energy Mart on Four Season's Blvd in Hendersonville NC) to show off his costume because a couple of people he knew there didn't see him on halloween and didn't see his costume so he only put on part of it. He didn't want to go all out and put on the dress. Again, he is one of the ugliest women I think I've ever seen. He tried hitching a ride on the street corner but there were no takers. Also, my uncle's in their dresses were for a benefit with the VFW many, many years ago. I was about 10 years old at the time and no, I'm not telling anyone my age. Suffice it to say, I'm 29 and holding. Just like Mom. She stayed 29 her entire life. By Rachel Holbert-Jones **** sassygrrl32

Now one might wonder why I'd write about this. One might even wonder why I was thinking about it. After the last post I was thinking about what a good cook my aunt is and that she learned some of it from an African-American lady in her VFW group although this woman only enhanced what my aunt already knew because my Grandmother and Great Grandmother were great cooks. Then I remembered one time while my parents and I(I was about 10 years old at the time) were staying with my aunt and her husband(he's deceased now) in Jacksonville, Fl. And my aunt was showing Mom and I some photos taken at a benefit her husband was at where they(the VFW guys) were all wearing dresses. It was hilarious. They had their mustaches, beards and hair on their chests poki

Car Decals~Rachel Holbert Jones

So yesterday I'm going into Dollar Tree and a lady with her granddaughter asks me about my car decals. The girl especially likes them. The grandmother said she was 18 but she looked much younger, maybe 13 or 14. She seemed very shy. She looked more like a boy than a girl and I could be wrong but I think grandma referred to her as a boy when we first started chatting, leading me to think the girl may have been trans-gendered which is none of my business and I have no opinion one way or the other. What each person does is his or her business and I'm not one to tell(think is a better term because I would never tell a stranger what I think or don't) anyone what he/she should or shouldn't do. Grandmother was quite talkative and friendly. The girl was enamored with the stickers on my car and the stuffed animals. I only put the stickers on the rear glass. The Ford Focus I have has the stickers on one of the front fenders where my …

Jeep Wrangler With Angry Bird Grill~Rachel Holbert Jones

So, I'm walking out of Lowes, I get in my car and this is sitting directly across from me. A Jeep Wrangler with the angry bird grill. As I said in the last post this is what I really wanted but I didn't find any Jeep's I liked, the ones I found were out of my price range, I didn't find any with the angry bird or wild boar grill and that's what I wanted. A Jeep with the grill already installed. And then there's the gas mileage. That doesn't stop me from having Jeep envy or rather angry bird envy.
I don't particularly like the dark green on this one but I love the grill. I snapped the photo just minutes before the guy came out and left with a woman I presume was his Mother. By Rachel Holbert-Jones ***** sassygrrl32

What I really wanted was a Jeep Wrangler with an angry bird or wild boar grill. I couldn't find what I wanted. Some come with the specialty grills already attached and that was what I was looking for. But I couldn't find any. At least not within my price range and age so I had to get something else.
My ex husband called me and told me he's having problems with the Ford he's driving. Sounds kind of like what I was having. The dealership that did the tuneups on both cars gave me a set of bad plug wires on the other Ford. They started arcing after only 5000 miles. This is definitely not good. He went to California to visit his sister because he hasn't seen her in years and my uncle is doing renovations on the house we were living in and we had to leave while the contractors are doing their work. I have no idea when they will be done. I know from talking to my uncle when he came to the dealership that they're not even c…

For anyone who's been following my blog they know how aggravated I've been for the past few weeks. I've taken my Ford Mustang to countless shops and no one could seem to figure out what's wrong with it. The problems have been going on for about three months. Since right after I replaced the AC compressor(which caused me to have to get it towed back to my ex husband's). After that it seemed fine so I went to Florida where it started acting up. The dealer replaced the fuel rail sensor and it seemed fine for a couple of weeks. I got sick(sinus infection, Florida is the only place that causes extreme sinus/allergy problems) so I left very quickly. It wasn't long b

Fact Check: 'Donald Trump Has Died--Possible Heart Attack--Hoax~Rachel Holbert Jones

This is a followup to my last post and rarely would I continue to write about the President but I just had to write about this.

So I continue through google and find this article from Snopes.com which by the way didn't originate from Snopes. It originated from some fake news site that they didn't link to giving any credence to such a s stupid(that's the only way I can describe it) site.

The fake news story is as follows:
This trend may now have bottomed out with one such site’s false report (from a fake news generator) that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has died of a “violent heart attack”: Donald Trump was pronounced dead today at 11am following what some are describing as a violent heart attack. The world famous businessman and TV personality was previously treated for minor cardio vascular issues that followed a mild course of antibiotics. Fans have already taken to social media to express their emotions with …

FB Hoax-Trump Suffering A Stroke~Rachel Holbert Jones

To view all of my blogs go to The Front Page.

So I log into my facebook messages which I rarely do and someone has sent me a message warning me not to click on any links sent to me claiming President Trump is having a stroke. It's a hoax. I hadn't even heard of it so I googled it and got several articles.
If you click on this link supposedly it will destroy all information on your computer, tablet and phone. So I suggest not opening any such emails/messages. For the record, the articles I found say all of it is a hoax. There is no malware nor has Donald Trump had a stroke.
I can't believe people get their jollies from stuff like this. Nonetheless I wouldn't open anything about Trump period. If you want to read about him there are plenty of reputable news sources online that will give you all the information you need or want.

So I'm updating some of my blog posts. I'm adding photos to a few and making other updates. I have posts that I haven't added photos too so I'm looking for a hamburger picture to add to my Burger King post and suddenly I really want another whopper. I just had one the other day. I fill out the survey receipts where you get a free chicken sandwich or whopper with the purchase of a drink and fries, any size so I get my meal for less than $4.00. A pretty good deal, I think. Anyway, I'm hungry and have been for a couple of hours I just wanted to get my updates done to my blog. Now I'm hungry for Burger King again which I know is a no-no. I just had Mcdonald's the night I got done with the auto repair shop which was two nights ago. I really don't need it but I want it. By Rachel-Holbert-Jones ***** sassygrrl32

What Are Your Engine Valves Trying To Tell You?~Rachel Holbert Jones

Image
To view my other blogs go to The Front Page.

In a previous post, we showed you how to read your spark plugs. Now we’re going explain how to read your engine valvesand valve-related components and translate what they’re telling you. The appearance of your intake and exhaust valves can hint at the current operating condition of your engine and foretell potential performance issues. Read More My two comments: #1 No where have I been able to find out how long valves stick upon startup. I assume until engine warms up but what about only sticking for a few seconds or sticking warm. What about sporadically sticking? Sometimes they do, sometimes not. I can’t seem to find any info or anyone who knows the answer to this. And what about taking the valve cover off to do exploratory surgery when not sure if this is the issue? What about low mileage valve sticking. No mechanics have the answer and Google takes me to the same pages no matter the search terms. I want more info but can’t find it. Othe…

Took Car To New Auto Repair Shop~Rachel Holbert Jones

So I go to this new shop. Took it in at 12:30 PM and didn't get out until 9:30 PM. I went to the library around the corner and stayed until 6 PM when they closed and when I got back to his shop he hadn't gotten to the diagnostics yet. He said they'd been slammed. He ran the computer diagnostics and said there was a slight misfire on cylinders 1 and 2. He said everything else was okay. He checked the spark plugs and they were out of gap so he regapped them. I could tell it made a noticeable difference that night. Yesterday morning, it started and ran fine. I woke up at 3:30 AM and at 5:15 AM decided it was time to leave. The car was running fine. I took a bunch of pictures, I found an old abandoned church. That was cool. And old truck on the outskirts of town but it was too early to photograph it but since I'm back I'll have to remember to go back and take a picture.
I was tired after driving and stopping for pictures so…
